Will they fit over my prescription glasses?
This is the most important question, so measure before you order. Take the total width of your glasses, from one outer edge to the other, and compare it with the size table on our Find your size page, or take the 30-second fit test there. If you're unsure, write to contact@ferbik.com with the measurement: we'll tell you honestly whether it fits.
And if your pair doesn't fit after all, our size guarantee covers you: return it within 30 days and we refund it. Return shipping is at your expense.
What if I don't wear prescription glasses?
They wear perfectly well on their own. The shape is simply more wraparound, which also blocks light coming in from the sides.
Are the lenses polarized?
Yes, on every pair of sunglasses. Polarization cuts the glare reflected off wet roads, snow and water. It's the difference between squinting and seeing clearly.
One exception: BORÉAL NUIT is not a sunglass. Its yellow lens is made for night driving and is neither polarized nor tinted for sun.
What UV protection?
UV400 on every pair of sunglasses, which blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays. BORÉAL NUIT, again, is the exception: a night-driving lens carries no sun protection and is not meant to be worn in daylight.
Will I pay customs fees?
In Canada: no. We ship from within Canada, so there is no border to cross and no duty to pay.
In the United States: yes, and we are upfront about it. Since the $800 de minimis exemption ended in August 2025, duty is owed on every parcel entering the country. We calculate it at checkout and remit it ourselves — so you pay it, but you pay it in advance, at a figure you can see before you order, and nothing is added on delivery.
How long does delivery take?
Orders leave Montréal within 1 business day. After that: Quebec and Ontario, 2 to 3 business days; rest of Canada, 3 to 4; United States, 4 to 8. Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut take longer. See our Shipping page for detailed times by region.
Can I return a product?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, in its original condition with its case. Details are on the Return policy page.
How do I clean the lenses?
With the microfibre cloth provided, on slightly damp lenses. Avoid paper, clothing, and anything containing alcohol or ammonia: they scratch the lens and attack the coatings.
What language do you answer in?
English or French, whichever you write in. Ferbik is a Canadian company and we answer our own mail — it isn't routed to a call centre somewhere else.
